Those who complain that the project they are playing in has not been updated for a long time, definitely worth learning patience from Two Worlds fans. For the first time, a gamer’s foot entered this world back in 2007. Three years later, the second part came out, but since then, it seems that the developers have simply safely forgotten about the project.
Nobody argues, all these years the Poles selflessly worked on their adventure action game Ravenrs; s Cry in a pirate setting, but fans of Two Worlds offended them for it, and hard.
A couple of large-scale updates of the current year to the current chapter and, of course, the officially announced start of work on the long-awaited third part of the trilogy will try to flatter Reality Pump Studios.
It is expected that the GRACE engine, which, to be honest, did not withstand any criticism, will be completely revised.
This will make the user interface friendlier and more modern, increase the detail of graphics, allow you to enter into the content a lot of new trophies, and even make a more diverse multiplayer mode.

There will be a new interesting turn in the development of the plot, perhaps oriented even to a greater number of hours of passage than the previous attempts at writing.
What is good, because getting a supplement every few years that cheerfully ironed up and down by an experienced player in just ten to twenty hours is a little awesome.
The details, however, have not yet disclosed, gave only general hints on the canvas. Well, at the first approximation everything looks seemingly interesting, we will try to dissect Two Worlds III under a microscope.
Under the events of the third part, they are now hastily pushing the updates released one after the other for the second, which until the end of the year will be released as many as two: Call of the Tenebrae and Shattered Embrace.
Everything will start with the return of our hero to the world, where he will be shocked by the killing of the Dar-Fa, and will actively resist the invasion of the race of ratmen, who filled Antalor.
Vile creatures managed to take control of the powerful and mysterious magic, and now they threaten to destroy all living things here.
What plot collisions will be specifically in Shatted, and how this will be connected with the third chapter of the franchise is not yet known. But, it’s not so long to wait for him – we will soon find out.
As for the Two Worlds III itself, most likely, they will again recall the need to restrain the rebellious fire god in check, they will introduce some mega-bad guys like the sensational Gandohar, in a word, it is logical that the game heavily mixed with the idea of opposition between good and evil cannot exist without a powerful antagonist, which our courageous hero will have to subdue.
The long-suffering Antalor will again be the battlefield (which is to be expected – the medieval setting seems to have not provided for interplanetary travel, and the developers have clearly not thought of exploration of parallel worlds).
Indeed, despite the fact that already the second hemisphere, the main character has already managed to fairly look, there remains an enormous part of the largest of the islands, which is still to be researched and explored …
In general, those who have already played in Two Worlds are aware that this whole world consists of several mini-continents, each, by the way, with a unique theme and ecosystem.
That was, by the way, ingeniously worked out, with a meticulousness worthy of all praise. There are desert zones, jungles, swamps, as well as classical forests of the middle belt.
Interesting and shown in each location are references to diverse cultures – from medieval Japan to the Arabian tale in the style of a thousand and one night.
The bestiary is gorgeous here, without exaggeration. Apart from the ratmen introduced soon, the hero in the world will have to fight both with the usual endemics of the above-mentioned areas, whether they are wild beasts, or the enraged domesticated animals, and dinosaurs.
And, of course, there is the whole traditional RPG-set of opponents in the form of various undead, werewolves and demons.
We’ll see what the eight multiplayer maps promised this year offer – maybe, besides the discovery of the last island, something else will appear.
Single-pass and multiplayer modes with PvP capability, personal and stationary teleport systems, as well as moving both on foot and by horse or boat will be available, as before.
It will be possible to acquire at home, and use them as warehouses of trophies, there is a very thoughtful original system for improving objects and skills, using alchemy to enhance yourself.
A very developed system of quests, which are obtained and the plot line, and from the guild (very similar to Skyrim), and from the bulletin board. And they can be both standard on keels, and various interesting: to the aid of the NPC, the race, the investigation and rescue.
It is interesting that you can sometimes go through them in several ways. By the way, everything in the game is saturated with very good and relevant humor, and there are a lot of easter eggs, for example, films about Indiana Jones and Monty Python.
The gameplay, most likely, will not change the familiar third-person view, as well as a set of traditional indicators of the character’s state – hit points and mana. The rest is no less familiar: accuracy, endurance, strength and strength of will.
Experience traditionally rocks, levels grow, only there is no dynamic adaptation of the level of monsters to the player’s current state, as there wasn’t.
Therefore, the location will have to take place exactly in the order in which the plot follows them.
With customization in the single-part has always been problematic, it is unlikely that something drastically changes in the future. But the specialization, characteristics and skills of the hero can be pumped at any time, as you like, which is a plus.
True, the developers’ favorites were obviously magicians and warriors, since the assassins used to work here with very large restrictions. Maybe even in the third part will expand the branches of development.
A magic system is considered unique that allows you to construct different spells yourself, as well as the use of amulets with magic cards.
Additional character actions (pickpocketing, hacking, playing musical instruments for the purpose of earning money, etc.) are implemented in the form of mini-games.
In terms of multiplayer content available duels, des-matches, battles with captures of the flag, joint campaigns for the development of general use villages, as well as a variety of quests.
And this part of the project already allows for the choice of race, and the choice of gender. At the same time, up to eight players can run together.
In terms of image quality and mechanics, everything will show, of course, the upcoming update of the engine. It remains to hope that the creators will not be lazy, and they will realize all the most modern developments in this area.
For the rest, they promise to remove the shortcomings due to the absence of dynamic changes in weather phenomena characteristic of each of the regions, make more realistic shadows and light effects, and finally introduce normal anisotropic filtering.
The soundtracks of the game have always been noted separately – they were really amazing. That the creations of AmberMoon and Harold Faltermeyer for the first part, that the themes of the Bulgarians of Stoyanov and Slavov, known by Risen and the third Gothic.
No official trailers have yet been presented, so the evaluation of music in Two Worlds III will have to be delayed, but I want to believe that the variety of styles for each location and plot change will be left and the authenticity of national motives will not be removed.
The third chapter will be released specifically for the PC, as no one is going to rewrite the whole game for the current version of consoles.
Yes, and the unpleasant past experience with releases on consoles, to which, by the way, all current criticism was mainly related, it seems, taught the Poles not to chase after multiplatform.
According to the system requirements, the main thing is for the 9/10 DirectX to stand, otherwise this 2019 game weighs very little and eats no more resources than any average project of our time.
